Pregnancy skincare edit.

Thought my pregnancy, I’ve been upgrading and updating my skincare routine, especially my body routine.

As I'm now in my last trimester, I’ve been using my products and routine for a few months, and I can now share which I’ve loved and why.

Everything works differently for everyone and, if you are pregnant, do not forget to get your doctor’s or midwife's approval on everything you do and apply.

Dry brushing.

This practice has been around for centuries, and it’s believed to have many health benefits. Some of them are: increasing circulation, exfoliating the skin, stimulating the lymphatic system, and helping break down cellulite.

The main idea is to remove dead skin from the body to improve the skin's ability to eliminate toxins.

Before every shower, I rub my brush from my toes upwards, through my body towards the heart’s direction. And then take a shower to help remove the dry skin.

I also find this step very relaxing!

Babymoon Belly Balm.

This was a fascinating gift from the brand Summer Fridays because I wanted to try it since they launched it.

This is an absolute treat to the bump! I love the soothing and calming texture and formula. It contains calendula, so I love to apply it whenever I feel my bump itchy.

Body Oil.

I stumbled upon this Bio-Oil in almost every list throughout my research for the best stretch mark prevention products.

I find this oil to be very light and fast absorbing in the skin, which I love. I’ve never liked the feel of greasy skin for a long time.

I apply this oil before bed and at random times because it doesn’t bother me to put clothes on right away applying it (I only wait 1-2 mins).

Love Lines. This one was sent to me by the brand Sokind, and it became one of my favorite discoveries in pregnancy alongside another one of their products. First of all, I love its name, "Love Lines" what a beautiful way to call stretch marks. This balm is super rich but, at the time, light-weighted? That is why I love it. I apply it on my bump, thighs, and boobs every day after shower and let it sit while I do other steps of my after-bath routine before putting clothes on.After hours of applying it, I still feel and see my skin moisturized in a very lovely way.

Silky Essential.

This is the other Sokind product that I’ve been loving. From their Mom care line, this all-over-the-body moisturizer is brilliant! It is a milky texture that absorbs into your body right away!
